Religion
Since its inception, the United States of America has been a safe haven from those who were fleeing religious persecution. The freedom to hold a religion or lack thereof, and the prohibition of government endorsement of religion is protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution.
It is undeniable that traces of religious encroachment have penetrated every facet of government and society. Various policies and iconography have been greatly influenced by religion, thus putting our secular government at risk.
Despite being the largest growing demographic in our country, atheism has consistently been wrongfully stigmatized and ostracized. Our organization provides educational and advocacy resources as means to actively dispel the misconceptions surrounding atheism.
Furthermore, it is evident that we are in need of patriots who will uphold the values in our Constitution, including the Separation of Church and State and Religious Freedom. Atheists for Liberty fights to maintain our secular government as it was originally intended by our Founding Fathers through the recruitment and training of grassroots activists dedicated to our movement.
