Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are fundamental rights guaranteed to each and every individual. We believe Americans should have the freedom to live without governmental and societal restrictions that obstruct the essential rights needed to safeguard civilization.

In our current environment, adversaries to the Constitution thrive on the increasing polarization that pits individuals against each other through religion, race, creed, color, and politics. ‘Cancel culture,’ religious indoctrination and politically correct censorship are new mechanisms used to infringe liberty.

When liberty is breached it becomes reminiscent of the same tyranny our Founding Fathers sought to prevent. Our community of free thinkers is devoted to questioning religious theocrats and the woke authority that attempts to impose limitations on individuals who refuse to sacrifice liberty for agendas.

Atheists are frequently asked what they believe in, as some fear that an absence of religion would equate to a lack of morality and community. In an ever-changing nation with philosophical and political inquiries about how Americans see reality, we are Atheists for LIBERTY.

Since its inception, the United States of America has been a safe haven from those who were fleeing religious persecution. The freedom to hold a religion or lack thereof, and the prohibition of government endorsement of religion is protected by the First Amendment of the Constitution.

It is undeniable that traces of religious encroachment have penetrated every facet of government and society. Various policies and iconography have been greatly influenced by religion, thus putting our secular government at risk.

Despite being the largest growing demographic in our country, atheism has consistently been wrongfully stigmatized and ostracized. Our organization provides educational and advocacy resources as means to actively dispel the misconceptions surrounding atheism.

Furthermore, it is evident that we are in need of patriots who will uphold the values in our Constitution, including the Separation of Church and State and Religious Freedom. Atheists for Liberty fights to maintain our secular government as it was originally intended by our Founding Fathers through the recruitment and training of grassroots activists dedicated to our movement.

Free Speech

Free speech is indisputably crucial to the free exchange of ideas that encourages society to flourish. Limits on speech, including speech considered hateful or ‘triggering,’ actively erodes a free citizenry.

Americans are fearful of being ‘cancelled’ when they express their thoughts, opinions, and beliefs. Our freedoms cannot fall victim to the politically correct culture promoted within intersectionality, social justice, and wokeness.

For many years, the atheist community firmly defended free speech and free thought until an infiltration of institutions and online media stifled what was once a prosperous, reactionary movement. Depending on the intersectional politics of the day, even some of the most egregious religious beliefs are defended by ‘woke’ wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Atheists for Liberty is committed to crafting and expanding a new community, free of the vices and political polarization that plagued our predecessors. We speak on behalf of the majority of atheists who have been alienated and rejected for failing to comply to the demands of a hostile social justice minority led by their new religion of wokeness.

The Constitution

The Constitution is the supreme law of the land that has withstood the test of time despite a never-ending series of attempts to question its legitimacy. Our rights and freedoms are clearly outlined and protected in the Constitution, and non-religious Americans warrant the exact rights as anyone else.

The supreme authority of our government is not a God.

Our Constitution guarantees us the freedom of religion, speech, and thought. Many try to undermine the Constitution and will spearhead the movement of religious and woke infiltration to justify their evasion of our principles.

Individuals guided by the religion of wokeness will claim the Constitution is a ‘problematic’ document. Yet, our Constitution is ever adapting to become increasingly representative of the people while maintaining its roots in the Enlightenment values our Founding Fathers stressed.

Atheists for Liberty hosts the most diverse community of freethinking atheists who understand the importance of our Constitution. Our programs and educational resources work to train atheists with the information they can use to dispel claims made through theological and woke forms of thinking.
